The Takisawa TT range has been developed to fully automate one or several operations and is made up of three basic sizes of machine, TT-160, TT-200 and TT-350. These machines have twin turrets and twin spindles with overhead high speed gantry loader and turnover device for simultaneous turning of operation 1 and operation 2 or identical operations on both spindles.
Options include tool setter, work measuring station and special software - Raku Raku - developed by Takisawa to simplify tool management and cutting load measurement. C axis and driven tools are also available.
